Eat Right Treat Right Challenge

The Eat Right, Treat Right Challenge, in partnership with MVP Healthcare, is a school assembly program featuring Lancers players at local schools. The "Eat Right" messaging includes valued healthy living advice, including the importance of nutritious, balanced diets. The "Treat Right" messaging refers to the importance of taking care of your own bodies while also treating those around you with respect, as part of an anti-bullying campaign. Lancers players use their own stories, lifestyles, and interactive elements to share this messaging with local students.

This program was kicked off midseason of the Lancers 2011/12 inaugural season with an initial goal of reaching 10,000 local children in our community. The total number of children reached by this program in year one was 15,000 after kicking it off mid-season. Year Two commenced earlier, resulting in over 30,000 children reached by this program! The 2013/14 season will kick off in November. To find out how to get involved or to sign up your school for an assembly, please contact Kayla 'Clark' Kent at (585) 872-5425 or click here to send her a message.

Kicks for Creativity

The Kicks for Creativity program is in its third year running. The program focuses on encouraging creativity amongst youth in our community through various art mediums. This artwork is then displayed at Lancers games on the walls of the Blue Cross Arena! This initiative benefits Hillside Family of Agencies and we encourage fans, parents, and teachers to make a donation to Hillside for their children's artwork. To find out how to get involved or to sign up your school, please contact Kayla 'Clark' Kent at (585) 872-5425 or click here to send her a message.

Score with Reading Program

In partnership with Woods Oviatt Gilman, the program offers reading challenges to receive great Lancers prizes. The winners of the reading challenge this season will receive a VIP Lancers Experience at one home game. Lancer players also attend special reading sessions at local schools and libraries to support this program.
