On the February 25th edition of his weekly radio show "Kick This," former Rochester Lancers' owner and CEO Soccer Sam Fantauzzo hinted at the possibility of bringing the team back to the Major Arena Soccer League, after commenting on attending a fast-paced match of the Syracuse Silver Knights the night before.

"Going to the game last night, and talking with some people this week.... I'm going to tell you right now, on this show, we are going to do everything in our power in the next two months to bring back the Rochester Lancers." said Fantauzzo. "We are going to bring back the Rochester Lancers, no matter what it takes."

Fantauzzo went on to mention that he has tried to follow other sports, engage in other hobbies, but claimed he needed his "indoor soccer fix" restored.

Some of the people that Fantauzzo has been speaking with to try to revive the franchise include former Rochester Lancers' player and head coach Doug Miller, and former Lancers' co-owner Christopher Wilmot.
