Doug Miller, the Living Legend of Rochester Pro Soccer will operate both outdoor teams for 2021. 

The UWS Lady Lancers Coach Sal Galvano is stepping down for the 2021 season due to a conflict with his Monroe Community College Tribunes spring season. UWS Lady Lancers Assistant Coach, Nicole Hercules will spend her time running her city youth soccer program, Rochester City Soccer League. The Lancers wish them both the best during their upcoming soccer year!

“Marc Dall will now coach the UWS Lady Lancers this spring” said Doug Miller, President of Soccer Operations, “He is a true student of the game. He continues to educate himself through US Soccer and now has the opportunity to advance into coaching at the UWS level. I believe he is a great addition to the Lancers brand.”

“I am thrilled to be joining the Lady Lancers and to be part of the incredible soccer lineage that is the Rochester Lancers.” said Marc Dall, UWS Lady Lancers Head Coach, “I want to thank SoccerSam and Kayla Kent-Moreira for the opportunity and their faith in my vision for the team. As well as thank my predecessor Sal Galvano for all he has done for women’s soccer in the area and by building the framework as I step into this position.”

“As we build our roster, we will look to tap into the vast quantity of extremely talented young women from our area who are currently playing collegiately across the country.” said Dall, “As well as look for some veteran leadership to return from the 2019 squad.”

Doug Miller will return as the NPSL Lancers Head Coach. Miller has been with the Lancers since 2011. The 2019 NPSL Lancers went 7-3-2 and made the playoffs. The 2020 Season was cancelled due to Covid.

“Several indoor and outdoor Lancer players are expected to return for the 2021 outdoor season. Tryouts for both teams will be announced in the coming weeks.” said Kayla Klark Kent-Moreira, Director of Soccer Operations. 

“Both the UWS Lady Lancers and NPSL Lancers will call the Aquinas Institute home for the 2021 season. All home games will be streamed live on LancersTV.” said Ashley Maria King, President of Operations. 

Joe Giuliano will return to the LancersTV broadcasts. Giuliano is a Lancers Wall of Famer and has been with the club since 2011. 

“The team will make a decision regarding spectators by April 15. Our priority has always been and remains the safety for our fans, players and staff.” said Salvatore “SoccerSam” Fantauzzo, Team Owner.
