(Rochester, NY) Indoor Soccer Star from Buffalo, NY returns to the Rochester Lancers. Gary Boughton was signed by the Rochester Lancers in 2011 and is returning for his 6th season with the indoor team. Per league and team policies, no further terms of the agreement were disclosed.

Gary Boughton, Midfield, #4.
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY 30 year old Boughton has had an extensive soccer career. He played college soccer for Medaille College where he holds the NCAA Record Holder for Career Assists with 82 and the NCAA Record Holder for Career Assists per game with .95. Gary is a 2x NSCAA Scholar All-American, 4x NSCAA Regional All-American, 2x AMCC Conference Player of the Year and 4x AMCC 1st Team All-Conference player.
Professional Career:
2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14 2014-15, 2018-19: Rochester Lancers Indoor team (MISL/MASL/M2). Gary played in his 100th game with the Lancers during the M2 playoff run last year. Boughton has 48 career goals and 39 career assists while playing for the Lancers and has helped the Lancers advance to playoffs 3 out of 5 seasons.
Gary enjoys coaching and developing youth and collegiate players in his spare time.

The MASL opens its season the weekend of November 22nd. The Lancers will visit The MetroStars of Canada. The Lancers Home Opener is on Friday, November 29 at the New Dome Arena, and will play a 24-game regular season.
