Born and raised in Rochester, NY, 25 year old Wright attended Victor High School and spent 1 year at Aquinas Institute. He had 25 goals and 40 assists during his 5 year Varsity High School soccer career. Wright spent 2 years playing under Lancer Legend, Nelson Cupello at Monroe Community College. During his time at MCC he had 10 goals and 20 assists. 2012-2013 he played for the Schulz Soccer Academy in Boca Raton, Florida (PDL). 2013-2014 Rochester Rhinos (USL). 2015-2016 Sindicato de Atletas of Sao Paulo, Brazil (Serie A3). 2015-2017 PSC FC (UPSL) and Pro Select, Malta (EUR). Most currently, Wright spent time with the M2 indoor Lancers and the NPSL outdoor Lancers. David enjoys being a DJ during his free time and is a season ticket holder for Manchester United (EPL).

Do you play or have you played other sports?
Basketball (when everyone was my height) and Lacrosse (during a time when one of our local coaches needed somebody with "speed" to add 10-15 assists per game)

Do you have any hidden talents/hobbies people don't know about you?
I DJ and use music in a similar way I use soccer to "escape" reality for a bit.
If you could have dinner with 3 famous people who would it be and why?
Will Ferrell/Jimmy Fallon - We wouldn't even be able to eat because of the laughter they would literally bring to the table. Pep Guardiola - that dinner would last all night by me picking every inch of his brain.
What are your career plans after soccer/school?
I currently own and operate my own soccer academy which I plan on investing most (if not all of my time) after my playing career ends.
